Theodolite can be used for some
miscellaneous operations such as,

Measurement of magnetic bearing ofa line.
2)
To measure direct angles
3)
To measure deflection angles
4)
To prolong straight line
5)
To run
a straight line between two points etc. Sources of error in theodolite work:
1) Instrumental, 2)
Personal , and 3) Natural.
